This Irish Heart Foundation / American Heart Association certified course covers CPR, use of a defibrillator and first aid for choking. It also covers use of a bag valve mask and high performance CPR.
The Anaphylaxis course covers how to manage an Anaphylaxis emergency.
This course is suitable for Nurses in Acute and Primary Care, physicians such as General Practitioners, Dentists and allied healthcare professionals.
BLS course is designed to provide healthcare professionals with high quality CPR skills, how to use an Automated External Defibrillator, relief of choking and how to use a Bag valve mask.
The Anaphylaxis course will provide healthcare professionals with the knowledge and skills to deal with life-threatening anaphylaxis and deliver the Immediate Medical care required

Any special needs / requirements should be identified at the time of booking. Participants should be advised to dress appropriately, due to the nature of the course, there will be manual skills, including CPR.
Course Length: Classroom course: 8 hours. This course combines the BLS sessions which is delivered in the morning – followed by the Anaphylaxis course in the afternoon of the same day.
