Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition either themselves or a family member, friend or colleague.
This awareness course is suitable for everyone as it provides learners with the knowledge to recognise a suspected mental health condition and the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost a person towards professional help.
All members of the public can benefit from this course and it is a great stepping stone into First Aid for Mental Health.

This course runs over 4 hours. Ideally, the course should be run over one day, but we have the flexibility to accommodate your specific needs if you so desire, providing it is completed within 6 weeks of starting the course and the training sessions last for a minimum of two hours.
We can run this course over alternative durations – e.g. 1 hour and 2 hour awareness sessions. These are ideal for Health and Safety Week / Workplace Wellness Week / Construction Safety Week or can be done for “Haddington Road” Hours for schools etc.
