We offer a range of first aid training courses, from short awareness sessions through to the full 3 day First Aid Response Course.
1 day – Classroom or Blended – other time options by arrangement.
Suitable for people or businesses where is no requirement for a First Aid Responder or where there are staff with the First Aid Response Qualification but the workplace wishes to have additional staff to supplement their FAR Provision. Also suitable for individuals who wish to increase their knowledge of first aid.
1 day – Classroom or Blended
Suitable for those working in the early years sector, childcare environments, children’s entertainment venues such as play centres and and for staff in primary schools. While course participants are primarily working with children this course is useful for parents, grandparents or babysitters.
3 day Initial course or 2 day refresher training – Classroom or Blended
Replaces Occupational First Aid
This course is suitable for those who are required to have a First Aid Qualification for workplace requirements to meet HSA standards or TUSLA requirements.
2.5 hours – Classroom, Blended or Online
This course is perfect for parents or family members wishing to develop a knowledge of what to do in emergency situations. It covers common injuries and how to assist a child who needs CPR or is choking.
3 hours (Adult Only) – 5.5 hours (Adult, Infant and Child)
Classroom or Blended. Blended option requires only 1 hour practical
This Irish Heart Foundation / American Heart Association certified course covers CPR, use of a defibrillator and first aid for choking. Various options are available – adult only, adult and child or adult, infant (under 1) and child.
Past participants include school staff and sports leaders who want a recognised CPR and AED certification. This course is also suitable for nurses in non-acute environments, pharmacists, care support staff such as healthcare assistants and social care workers.
Classroom course: 6 hours. Blended option requires approx 90 mins practical
This Irish Heart Foundation / American Heart Association certified course covers CPR, use of a defibrillator and first aid for choking. It also covers use of a bag valve mask and high performance CPR.
This course is suitable for Nurses in Acute and Primary Care, physicians such as General Practitioners, Dentists and allied healthcare professionals.
Classroom course: 5 hours
This nationally certified course covers CPR, use of a defibrillator and first aid for choking. It also include the Recovery Postition and Team CPR. This course is suitable for members of the public wishing to have a recognised CPR and AED qualification.
It is also suitable for nurses in non-acute environments, pharmacists, care support staff such as healthcare assistants and social care workers.
Classroom course: 6.5 hours
This nationally certified course covers CPR, use of a defibrillator and first aid for choking. It also includes the Recovery Postition, Team CPR, Oxygen administration, oral airways and use of a supraglottic airway.
This course is targeted at healthcare providers who require advanced CPR certification. It is the course that Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) practioners are required to complete as part of CPC requirements.
This course is also suitable for Nurses in Acute and Primary Care, Nurse Practitioners, General Practitioners, and other healthcare providers who are likely to respond to cardiac arrest.
